Taking your creative vision to the next level

The image to the right of my son Nathan was shot as a test using the CamRanger, bracketing a sequence of images  using the ISO (100,200,400) resulting in a  32 bit final image.

During the processing in Adobe’s Raw Converter I experimented on how far I could push the limit of the highlights before I began to lose detail.  My Canon 5D Mark III captures 14 bit depth in camera resulting in only 16,383 values of colors, where as 32 bit depth gives you 16.7 Million values of colors. At this point in time you can only achieve true 32 bit depth through an HDR capture.
